Before you commit to taking this workshop, there are a few things you will need to think about to be sure that you and I are on the same page about what you will be learning. In order to be sure that this workshop will be valuable to you and that when you go home after the two days, you will have an implemented marketing strategy that you just need to maintain, rather than theory that you’re left to implement on your own later.
This is not a workshop for the feint-hearted or tech-shy. If you think you’re no good at technology and can’t learn to use a few different platforms in two days, then this is not the workshop for you.
If you have a general grasp of how to use social media platforms, are serious about selling your art or art related products online and offline and are willing to put in ongoing work required to marketing your art online, this workshop will get you started with a working marketing strategy.
There is nothing very difficult about this workshop, but there is a fair bit to cover and get your head around. Starting out with some goals and your marketing strategy, I will show you how to implement automation, so you don’t end up spending all your time online, and systems to make sure you know what to do next to achieve your goals. There is plenty to set up, and you should know before you start that the strategies that you implement in this workshop will require ongoing work and commitment.

Cost: Two-day workshop R1250 including a light lunch
You will need a self-managed website to be able to implement all the marketing strategies that we will cover in the workshop. If you don’t have management of your site, you could still take this workshop, but you will need to have some changes made to your website. In that case, compile the brief to your website manager during the workshop.
If you don’t have a website yet, and you’re ready to invest in your own domain name and hosting, I will be sending out details in the pre-workshop assignment to get that up and running before the workshop.
